The 50% Pledge

A company built to give back.

Every year, Takko Technologies Oy gives half its profits to a cause chosen by the collectives TACI serves. A named, yearly, verifiable commitment — not a foundation structure.

Mechanism

Four things, stated plainly.

50 % of annual profit
Half of what remains after operating costs and tax — not of revenue, not of a marketing budget.
Every year
A yearly cadence tied to Takko Technologies' fiscal year. Not one-off, not conditional on a headline.
Chosen by the collectives
The initiatives on TACI vote each year for the beneficiary — a cause the network already serves.
Reported openly
Amount, recipient, and evidence of transfer published on this page and in the annual report.
Why for-profit + Pledge

Simpler and more verifiable than a foundation.

A non-profit foundation is a structure. The 50% Pledge is a commitment — a named share, a yearly cadence, a real beneficiary, reported openly. It says the same thing without the multi-year registration path.

We win when the causes win. If TACI Technologies grows, the yearly transfer to the collective's chosen cause grows with it. If it does not, the promise still applies to what profit there is.

This is a values and marketing statement today. Binding it as a legal covenant in Terms of Service is a decision for our lawyers, not this page.
